At Conversant, one of the things we are continuously focused on is how we can design work to be consistent with the nature of being human. Often we look at the ways people connect and collaborate, and our personal well-being is just as important to our ability to do great work.
As Kell Delaney says, our culture has become “all inhale and no exhale.” We need to create the space for rest–and not just rest, but intentional rest. In this month’s video, Kell and Robin Anselmi discuss this concept of intentional rest and share a fun idea for how to get your teams engaged in a rest and refresh challenge, perfect for this time of year.
Here’s an example of our company’s Refresh Challenge that we’ll be running with our employees over the next few weeks:

1 point for each unique thing you do and post about it on Teams
2 points if you post about it on Teams and include a picture
5 points if you make a relevant connection to our work and post about it on LinkedIn
10 points if you do the task with a colleague and co-write about it on LinkedIn
20 points if you do it and write a blog post about it
Reflect on your accomplishments from the year – what are you most proud of personally? Professionally?
